The house and the mill had to be demolished because a cycle path was planned. This path is now in place. Opposite the northwestern end of the Kleinwatering, the foundation of this mill still lies. A section of the field walls is still present and was restored in 1998. The foundation and some half-meter-high walls remain. They served as a picnic area for years, until on January 27, 2000, unknown persons at Joyriding caused extensive damage to the mill remains with a reed mower in the Krimpenerwaard. Nevertheless, picnics are still possible there. A steel picnic table with benches has been installed.

At the corner, Elserkade turns into Graafkade. There is a bench there to take a break, but also look at the water feature diagonally behind the bend. Many types of water birds are here because it is so secluded.
