비텐베르크 엘베 강변 산책로는 산업 항구 지역에서 현대적인 휴양지로 변모했습니다. 이곳은 보수된 구 메인 세관 건물과 같은 역사적인 건물과 녹지 공간을 연결하며 엘베 강을 조망할 수 있습니다. 집중적인 재설계 후, 이곳은 현재 "엘베 계곡의 관문"으로서 도시의 새로운 모습을 형성하고 있습니다. 산책로 주변 지역은 해운 및 산업 발전(근처 재봉틀 공장)과 밀접하게 관련되어 있었습니다. 오랫동안 비어 있고 방치되었던 산책로의 눈에 띄는 건물은 광범위하게 개조되었습니다. 도시 개발의 일환으로 강변이 개선되어 현재 지역 주민과 관광객을 위한 산책로로 사용되고 있습니다.

The Old Main Customs Office in Wittenberge dates back to the 19th century and served to monitor the flow of goods across the Elbe River. After years of disuse, it was renovated and converted into modern apartments, while preserving its historical appearance. The building remains a testament to Wittenberge's economic importance in Elbe River trade.

Normally, this Elbe crossing should be avoided by bike. Currently, however, there's almost no alternative. My breathtaking experience was that ALL trucks on the federal highway maintained a considerable distance or waited. Crossing the railway bridge is expected to be possible again from fall 2025.

The 1100 m long bridge is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.

The square is considered the only Jewish courtyard in Germany still intact. The courtyard houses an exhibition with many pictures on Perleberg's history.

Lenzen Castle, the visitor center in the heart of the Elbe-Brandenburg River Landscape Biosphere Reserve, rises picturesquely above the Elbe Valley in Brandenburg. The Stepenitz is a beautiful river that meanders through the beautiful landscape of the Prignitz. You can even watch salmon, as attempts have been made to reintroduce the fish here since 2000.
