A beautiful circular route through the forest, but be careful when wet as it gets slippery.

From here you catch your first glimpse of the small hamlet of Reckenberg. In the village, you'll encounter several "farm animals"—pigs, chickens, and sheep—although the two-legged ones—the chickens—occasionally roam freely on the path. Further down in the village, you'll come to the llama farm. The llamas seem very curious and enjoy watching the hikers passing by.

A beautiful forest path with some ups and downs. It can also sometimes turn into a mud fight or a mud bath.

The ring wall runs from the Hohle Fels and the viewpoint overlooking Lake Happurg; you can walk nicely on its crown.

Just stop for a moment and watch the llamas

On display is a fascinating collection of tin figures depicting the Celtic settlement "Houbirg". There are also many rare exhibits from the prehistoric excavation site in Hunas. This is a site where living quarters have been found that are between 130,000 and 260,000 years old. A new permanent exhibition is "In the Realm of Darkness", which focuses intensively on the caves of the Franconian Jura.
