The hike to the Zittelhaus is a true highlight in the Hohe Tauern. Before setting out, it's essential to familiarize yourself with the route and honestly assess whether you're up to the challenge, given your abilities; the climb is challenging. Once at the top, you'll be rewarded with a unique atmosphere: spectacular sunsets and sunrises, cozy and clean rooms, delicious food and drinks, and a warm atmosphere at the hut make your stay unforgettable.

The Rauris Valley has many nicknames, one of which is “the valley of the springs”. The reason for this is, among other things, the many spectacular waterfalls that plunge into the valley, which you can discover up close here - especially at the head of the Kolm Saigurn valley.

The Rojacherhütte is definitely a beautiful alpine destination: great location, nice Landlady. The way there is easily manageable up to 1 hour after the new building. After that it becomes alpine. Attention: It's easy to get lost in a ditch where you have to descend to the left and not go straight up - there should be an arrow pointing to the left.

If you still have enough strength in your legs, you can take this peak with you when you are on the Carinthian Anniversary Trail. The path does not lead directly over the summit, but about 200 meters below. But it pays off!!!
