It's a great experience every time, and the climb to the upper falls (sometimes a bit steep, but never technically difficult) is definitely worth it.

A magnificent mountain with a view, surrounded by summery green slopes with a distinctly alpine finale. At over 2,400 meters above sea level, you can admire a magnificent panoramic view, especially the panorama of the Großglockner and Großvenediger mountains to the south.

The lower Wildalmsee is one of three magnificent larger mountain lakes between the Neuer Bamberger Hütte and the Schafsiedel. It's a welcome refreshment on hot days and, of course, a lovely place to rest.
