Grassl distillery huts The harvest area of the Grassl gentian distillery is located in the steep slopes and alpine pastures over 1,000 meters and extends from the Enzianhütte on the Roßfeld to the three distillery huts in the national park on the Priesberg, on the Wasseralm and on the Funtensee to the Wurzelgraberhütte on the Kallbrunnalm in Pinzgau (Salzburger Land). Beautiful viewpoint summit that you pass on the ridge between Schönfeldspitze and Schonegg... wonderful view of the Steinernes Meer

After climbing over 1,400 meters over the southern ridge to the Schöneck, the detour came in handy. A total of 1,800 meters of climbing with ups and downs on the ridge to the Schönfeldspitze from the Riemannhaus car park :P It's a shame that the east ridge of the Wurmkopf isn't marked on the map.

This beautiful hut is beautifully nestled next to Lake Funten.
