Memorial stone for Tamara Bunke (Tanja Guerrillera) - German comrade of Che Guevara in Dabel

In the cemetery is the massive burial chapel of the von Barner family, built from granite stones.

The eye-catcher is the alliance coat of arms above the entrance, which bears the inscription of the von Barner and von Maltzahn families.

The building is owned by the municipality of Bülow. It is used by clubs, school classes, and the municipal council.

Dabel was first mentioned in 1272. The center of the village is the church, dating from the early 15th century, a flat-roofed fieldstone hall with a tower of equal width. The parish offers a wide range of services open to everyone: a crèche, a daycare center, and an after-school care center. Christian education and confirmation classes, Scouts for children and young people, a children's choir, a brass band, a senior citizens' choir, a girls' band, carol singers, a tower musician, senior citizens' afternoons, and, above all, church services on Sundays and holidays, as well as concerts and exhibitions.

Nice little bathing area with a bench and sandy bottom. To the left and right there is forest floor and a few water lilies. There is a parking lot and a large playground on the village meadow. There is no direct opportunity to sit down with a blanket.

Don't go far here - there is no path or it's completely overgrown! No idea why this section was planned like this - total rubbish. Better to take the road.
