The views are stunning

Good foot paths around Linacre , very wet and muddy once you leave them . Good waterproof boots and gaiters recommend .

There are three beautiful reservoirs at Linacre, aptly named Lower, Middle, and Upper, going from east to west. The reservoirs are surrounded by fields and woodland with a network of trails and footpaths. The woods are beautiful and include oak, beech, alder, larch, and pine, and in the springtime they are carpeted with bluebells. It is a scenic area, and there is a public car park on the northern edge of the woods of the Lower Reservoir.

The Burbage valley is a lovely place to ride with far reaching views over the moors, it’s a place that isn’t difficult to ride due to its gentle gradient but in dryer conditions it’s quite fun at the bottom end as it has a flowing nature

It’s fascinating found these mill stones around the estate. I found som close by the Gorge Chapel.

Relatively easy gravel path, nothing too technical crossed by shallow flowing water in a few places after rain.

Lovely as either a climb or a descent. Not too technical, easily doable on a gravel bike. Beautiful scenery, especially at dusk when it catches the light just so (assuming it's not raining, that is).

Excellent walking country with ancient woods and tumbling streams
