The Weißenbach – Hornberg section along the Lech River offers cyclists a particularly attractive route. The well-maintained cycle path runs largely flat directly along the riverbank, offering repeated magnificent views of the Lech, its gravel banks, and the forest-lined river landscape. Surrounded by rolling hills and unspoiled nature, the route is ideal for leisurely cyclists seeking peace and quiet, nature experiences, and gentle exercise. Several stops invite you to linger, take photos, or enjoy a picnic on the riverbank before the ride continues toward Hornberg.

Yes, unfortunately no longer leased since summer 2024. The next hut that's also open in summer is the Schneetalalm, a little further down.
