The landscape and the panorama are a dream

The building dates back to the 16th century, and wall paintings from the time of its construction are still preserved on the second floor. Today, the building houses the Reutte Market Town Museum. On display are works by the famous Zeiller family and Anna Stainer-Knittel, better known as "Geierwally." Other topics include the eventful history of the Reutte market town, the salt trade, and Ehrenberg Castle. The building is a listed historical monument and is listed under object ID: 40004 in the list of listed buildings in Reutte.

Local History Museum "The Green House", Reutte The "Green House" probably dates from the second half of the 16th century, as recently discovered Renaissance paintings on the second floor of the house show. Under the gable, around the middle window, the depiction of the "Holy Trinity" is grouped symmetrically on clouds. Architectural paintings such as the false portal, columns at the corners, cornices and herm pilasters on the cartouche-crowned windows decorate the house.
