If you prefer more beach, the east side of this fjord is the point to stop. There is more sand at low tide but also a longer walk to get into the deep blue water. Define one of the more scenic fjords along the Lofoten Archipelago.

The sign on the E10 road says: Skulpturlandskap It is an ongoing project but as of today, the 36 works of art done by 35 artists are located in the landscape in 34 municipalities in Nordland, as well as a sculpture in Troms. Definitely worth a stop.

This little barrel type of beach sauna is next to the campsite and very close to the sandy beach. View is obviously towards the ocean and a certain privacy is ensured due to little the distance to the campsite.
