Kamiel guards the estate's observation tower, also known as the Magic Tower. From this tower, you can see the skyline of downtown Brussels in the distance, including the spheres of the Atomium. Kamiel is a friendly troll who likes to wear a mask because only then can he speak the language of animals.

Troll Arvid sits quietly crafting a large wooden spear while taking a break on the path. This industrious troll enjoys searching for old and dead trees to make new things from. He also sometimes carves his desires into the old trees.

Relaxing at the water's edge is always fun

In the "Tomorrowland" park "De Schhommelei" near Antwerp, there are several gigantic troll statues made from scrap wood by Thomas Dambos, which are particularly worth a visit. The troll Arvid sat in the middle of the wooden walkway on the hiking trail. We were completely amazed! Arvid makes this beautiful part of the park very special, a magnificent place 🤩

DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED, NOT EVEN ON A LEASH. It is dangerous for your four-legged friend to walk next to the paths because of pollution. Dogs also frighten the animals present (including waterfowl, beavers, otters).

A paradise for water birds This former industrial area has grown into a true paradise for water birds. Many birds, such as the cormorant, find a breeding ground here. Do you want to admire them up close? Then take a seat in one of our two birdwatching huts and watch the birds without disturbing them.

It took all winter for the summer to pass And they invited all the little people to come. And the little people walked to the top Where they opened their eyes And saw beyond the forests The mountains and the sky, They saw the future With tears in their eyes What they saw no one knows, But the eyes never lie.
