The Laarse beek rises in Brecht and flows via Brasschaat and Schoten to Antwerp. There it flows into the watercourse the Groot Schijn. The province of Antwerp is the manager of the watercourse from source to mouth. The valley area of the Laarse beek is a ‘peri-urban’ area because it forms the transition between an urban and a rural landscape. You will encounter many paved surfaces, buildings and infrastructure, but also beautiful green spaces such as the Peerdsbos, Park Vordenstein, the Park of Brasschaat, the Inslag,… These green zones form a real oasis of peace for many residents and visitors. Beautiful obelisk at a crossroads of paths.

Due to the installation of new barriers, it is no longer possible to turn left via the French road and the cycle path immediately after the fen. You should continue following the cycle path until you reach the next entrance gate. The purple walk that departs from the Beauvoislaan bus stop (Den Draver) needs to be adjusted.
