This corten steel sculpture stands on the roundabout that forms the entrance to the Père Pire Bridge. The 4-meter-high and 2.5-meter-wide work is by Seraing artist Giovanni Gelmi. It represents the symbol of the Tour de France, which passed through Wanze in 2010. "I wanted to combine cycling, the environment, and the idea of movement, inspired by a helmet," explains the artist.
