it's crazy downhill in the direction of Salzeno (maybe -16% or -17%?) and the tarmac condition is poor. have good brakes: i have good brakes but decided to walk this part. it ends in a steep curve with a mining corp full of trucks road, so not a good idea to let brakes go. stay safe

Coming from the north, the cycle path forks immediately after the bridge over the Torrente Avisio, just before entering the city of Trento. At this point, nature meets orientation: Straight ahead, the path continues along the Adige River on the EuroVelo 7 (EV7) – ideal for those who want to follow the river landscape and cycle leisurely south. Those who turn left at the fork, however, switch to the BI-1, a direct connection to the center of Trento. This junction is perfect for those who want to take a detour into the city – whether for a break at the Cathedral Square, a stroll through the city, or a visit to the Castello del Buonconsiglio. The fork is well signposted and easy to spot – a practical and scenic point where cyclists can choose between continuing their journey or making a cultural stop.
