From the small town of Osigo you can enjoy a simply fabulous landscape.

Up to now the oldest document that tells us about the church of S. Giorgio di Osigo is a land registry from 1462. The cemetery that was around was also very old. In the Pastoral visit dated 27 November 1474 by Bishop Nicolò Trevisan, it is said that the church had been built again. The care of souls depended on the Parish of Fregona but in Osigo there was a priest resident on site. The Baptistery was granted on 10 March 1739, it became a parish on 3 July 1865 with a decree by Bishop Manfredo Bellati who in 1851 had also consecrated the church almost rebuilt in 1837-38. The last expansion with the addition of the two naves and the pronaos dates back to 1922. Bishop E. Beccegato reconsecrated it on 27 February 1923.
