Beautiful old watchtower, but the door is locked

The barrier blocks the way for motorized people. The path is open for hikers, cyclists and horse riders. Coming from below, there is an open door about 50 m to the left of the barrier. Coming from above, look out for a small trail on the right about 100 m before the barrier and follow it to the gate.

A small grotto, a good ten meters long. At the end you can see tiny stalactites. Beautiful limestone deposits can be found on the walls. A headlamp may be recommended.

The Nuraghe Murtas near Santa Maria in Muravera are twin towers that were built by the Nuraghe in the millennium BC. Not much of the towers can be seen anymore. The area is signposted and fenced, but was open to the public in 2024.
