Beautiful old watchtower, but the door is locked

The tower of the "ten horses" is somewhat hidden from the beach. The tower and its associated gate are one of around 100 Spanish towers on the island of Sardinia. The name probably comes from the fact that ten men on horses always stood guard at the tower and gate. The tower was abandoned at the end of the 18th century. The tower is impressive but unfortunately cannot be climbed.

Spacious and camping-like pitch Bellavista Camperservice. You can see that this used to be a campsite, but is now used as a pitch for mobile homes and caravans. Located right on the beach and a good base for activities in the region.
