Pisciotta, a jewel of Cilento to be discovered by bicycle During your bicycle trip to Pisciotta, you will certainly have had the opportunity to appreciate its scenic and historical beauties. This village perched on the Cilento hills, about 3 km from the coast, offers a breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the surrounding mountains. The beating heart of Pisciotta is its historic centre, a maze of narrow and winding alleys, local stone houses and picturesque views. Here you can admire the Mother Church of San Giovanni Battista, dating back to the 12th century, with its bell tower and Romanesque portal. Also not to be missed are the Cappella della Mercede, with its 16th century frescoes, and the Torre Angeina, symbol of the town.

Beautiful climb of about 7 km with an average gradient of 5%, peaks at 7%, therefore very pedalable. It offers magnificent views. Traveled in the first half of October and found almost non-existent traffic.

What a fun street. Limited to narrow cars as the road has many holes and cracks. But the view is cool and the descents can be done quickly.

suggestive tour for the panorama. Always paved road, with small bumps in some stretches, but a worrying nuance. The complete lap, which I hope to do in the next few days, will be around 88km with a fairly demanding altitude difference. Without haste, and with the right timing, I hope to make it :) If there are cyclists in the area, we can think of a collective ride, at least until the 27th ;)

Lentiscosa returns are simply sensational! The paved road never slopes too steeply so it can be tackled by everyone both uphill and downhill and you can enjoy a unique panorama.
