The Preta Perciata Pass is an ancient mountain pass that connected the Calore Valley with the Alento Valley. In the past, visitors passed through a fascinating tunnel carved into the rock, giving rise to the name "preta perciata," meaning "perforated stone." Today, the pass offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Cilento mountains and the ridges surrounding Magliano Nuovo, which it dominates from above.

The medieval village of Quaglietta, home to an ancient castle, lies in the homonymous hamlet of Calabritto and is the main attraction in the Irpinia municipality. The village is dominated by a mighty fortress dating back to the Lombard era.

The Acquabianca stream flows through the Valle della Caccia, a WWF natural oasis located in Senerchia, in the province of Avellino, within the Monti Picentini Regional Park. Its pristine waters flow through a picturesque landscape, creating the spectacular Acquabianca Waterfall, approximately thirty meters high, culminating in the Sele River. The area is characterized by nature trails, beech and birch forests, and is home to a rich biodiversity.
