The Fontana del Guercio Reserve in Carugo, Como, has 14 springs, potentially of Celtic origin, with the Testa del Nan among the main Lombard fountains. The reserve includes woodlands, agricultural areas and is a refuge for various botanical and animal species, in particular the crayfish, giving it the status of Site of Community Interest.
