The Nepomuk Chapel in Wels is a venerable example of Baroque architecture and a significant piece of cultural heritage, honoring Saint John of Nepomuk. Erected in 1732 by the log drivers' guild, the chapel stands on the south side of the building at Traungasse 12, the former site of the Traun Gate. Wels Castle Garden is a beautiful garden. It is very well maintained, with beautiful plants and trees. I visited it this week and was truly amazed at how wonderful and calming it is. Many thanks to the city of Wels and the gardeners for their outstanding work.

We were here briefly on a business trip, and it's a nice way to enjoy the views in all directions around Wels. The mountains and the fantastic panorama are also beautiful. Open year-round, with many steps leading up to the top, and there's also a guest book. Everything's free, and there's no waiting time. Worth a quick stop.
