11월 1, 2025, Moar zu Viersch Buschenschank
The stately Moar (Mayr) farmstead in Viersch (870 m) was acquired in 990 by Bishop Albuin of Brixen. For many centuries, it served as the kitchen farm of the Prince-Bishopric. From 1645 to 1879, it was owned by the Lords of Troyer. They built the small church dedicated to St. Catherine in 1720. The Viersch farmstead was destroyed by fire in 1878 and rebuilt in its present form. It once featured a prehistoric hillfort. Bronze and ceramic finds, Roman coins, and a small figurine of Jupiter are kept in the Provincial Museum. A restored, medieval, and very deep draw well (known locally as a "Ziggl") is located between the buildings.

From this panoramic point above Laion you can observe the beauty of this small mountain village. Currently it has about 2,500 inhabitants and has in the church of San Pietro the main building of artistic and architectural interest.

This beautiful panoramic point can be reached with a pleasant walk from Klausen (Chiusa). The view over the valley is magnificent. You can admire: the Benedictine monastery of Säben (Sabina) perched on a rocky cliff and the long and narrow Isarco valley.
