The lonely "Scnürlsteig" trail wound its way steeply uphill in serpentines, offering fantastic views of the Val Gardena valley. The silence was soothing, the views breathtaking. At the summit, the Puflatschspitz (360-degree peak), a magnificent panorama opened up, overlooking the Sciliar region and the Sella massif. A quiet, beautiful path to an impressive vantage point.

Nestled above Ponte Gardena and the Isarco River, Barbiano is known for its slightly leaning bell tower and its woods full of delicious chestnuts. Among others, Goethe stopped here during his trip to Italy. There are numerous hiking and off-road cycling trails in the municipality.
