La Tradotta is a cycle/pedestrian path, inaugurated in June 2020 and approximately 18.5 km long, which connects Montebelluna to Nervesa della Battaglia, passing through the municipalities of Montebelluna, Volpago del Montello and Giavera del Montello. This cycle/pedestrian path was built on the old “La Tradotta” Montebelluna-Susegana railway line, built at the beginning of the last century for military purposes. Ferrovie dello Stato began designing the route in 1914 while the official opening was in 1916, following the First World War, due to the heavy damage suffered, it was reopened in 1920. In 1966 it was finally suppressed although during the 1970s it was used for replacement runs between Montebelluna and Conegliano. The route can be done without difficulty as it is completely flat and therefore suitable for all ages and needs.

4월 24, 2023, Veduta di Susegana
Coming from Treviso, the tower and the walls of the castle cannot be missed: the Castle of San Salvatore dominates Susegana and confirms the importance of the surrounding territory. Built by the noble Collalto family in the mid-13th century, it served as a defensive structure throughout the Middle Ages, before becoming a splendid manorial residence and a local and European artistic center. After the First World War, in which San Salvatore was badly damaged in a bomb attack, the castle was restored and today forms the elegant backdrop for many events and events. Also visit the hamlet, the Venetian-style palazzo from 1700 with the magnificent works of great Venetian masters of the time and enjoy the view that the privileged location offers!

4월 21, 2023, Prosecco Wine Route
The popular Italian sparkling wine can only be called “Prosecco” if it comes from the typical Prosecco grape. In Veneto, this light, low-alcohol wine is often consumed as a glass (“un’ombretta”). Like champagne, it used to be fermented exclusively in the bottle. Today it is fermented in large tanks and bottled with a certain amount of residual sugar, which brings the “frizzante” to the sparkling wine during fermentation. In addition to the sparkling wine, there is the “Prosecco Spumante” as a sparkling wine, a “Gran Cuvée” and a still Prosecco, the “Prosecco Tranquillo” as a normal white wine. The Prosecco Road begins at Conegliano Castle and leads through the beautiful vineyards via the towns of San Pietro di Feletto, Refrentolo, Soligo and Col San Martino to Valdobbiadene. The trip takes about half a day or longer, depending on how much you want to dedicate yourself to tasting the “Prosecco” in a “Bottega del Vino”. In the quiet Col San Martino, a long-established “trattoria” invites you to try Venetian delicacies. At the top of one of the surrounding wine hills is the “Chiesa di San Virgilio”, built in the 13th century, which can be reached after a short walk. From up here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the picturesque landscape. As you continue west, it is also worth visiting the impressive “Chiesa di San Martino”, which was built on a mountainside.

Ancient castle probably sold by the municipality of Treviso to the Counts of Collalto around 1240. Today exhibitions and ceremonies are held here. From here the view is breathtaking and on the clearest days even the Venice lagoon is visible.
