Ciclovia del Brenta는 약 140km에 걸쳐 뻗어 있는 매력적인 자전거 여행 코스로, 트렌티노의 Caldonazzo와 베네치아 석호에 접해 있는 Chioggia를 연결합니다. 이 경로는 Brenta 강을 따라 이어지며 놀라운 풍경의 다양성을 제공합니다. Valsugana 자전거 도로로 알려진 첫 번째 구간은 산악 지대를 따라 호수를 끼고 부드럽게 내려가다가, Bassano del Grappa와 같은 역사적인 마을, 숲, 바위 절벽이 풍부한 계곡으로 이어집니다. 베네치아 평원으로 계속 나아가면, 이 경로는 파도바와 같은 중요한 예술 도시들을 지나며, 장엄한 팔라디오 및 귀족 빌라로 유명한 유명한 Riviera del Brenta로 변모합니다. 이 경로는 마침내 아드리아 해의 관문에서 끝납니다. 주로 평탄하고 대부분 포장되거나 단단한 흙길로 이루어진 이 자전거 도로는 모든 수준의 자전거 이용자에게 적합합니다.

Beautiful cycle path that runs alongside the Brenta River

If you cycle up Monte Grappa, you should not miss a visit to the "Ossarium", a monumental memorial to the soldiers who died here in the senseless trench warfare during the First World War. The road up Monte Grappa ends at a large car park at Rifugio Bassano. From here, it is only a long flight of stairs to the Ossarium and then you can admire the extensive Ossarium and enjoy the overwhelming view. On my first visit, I pushed my racing bike up the stairs because I didn't have a lock with me. On my second visit with my friend, we locked the bikes in the car park and climbed up.

The bike path is very well developed and well signposted throughout. It's almost impossible to go wrong. The view of the surrounding mountains is very beautiful and there are good bike stations that invite you to eat, rest and relax.
