It is the third largest natural lake in South Tyrol and can be completely circumnavigated.

Those arriving by car should not park at the Olympic Park/Biathlon Stadium. It costs 8 € (09.2022) and is only possible between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Continue towards the mountains to the Seehaus or to the other end of the lake and park at the hiking car park at the Seebad restaurant.
