Very simple and perfect for being in nature while avoiding traffic, this dirt road along the Cervano stream allows you to go in complete tranquility from Bagnolo to San Pietro di Feletto. It is perfect for those who want to start pedaling off-road and become familiar with fat tires.

Situated in a panoramic position on the Feletto hills, the parish church overlooks the Venetian Alps. The building is directly accessible from the road via a staircase that dominates the vast, still predominantly rural landscape. The parish church of San Pietro, a magnificent work of art from the Lombard period, was built around the year 1000, but since the 7th and 8th centuries has served as a meeting place for the faithful, who gathered for numerous religious functions. The building boasts a striking façade, in front of which stands a large 13th-century portico, under which five precious late medieval frescoes are preserved: Sant'Antonio Abate, Vergine col Bambino, Vergine con Santi, Sacrificio di Cain en Abel, and Christ of Sunday. The existing building began to develop in the 11th century, when the current parish church was designed. In the following centuries, the church developed and was enriched with an increasing number of frescoes, until the 16th century, when it achieved its current appearance. All the paintings underwent a complete restoration between 1998 and 2002, allowing us to enjoy the original colors today. Source: Information on site

To do this excursion I used mountain boots, even if in the end I did a few km on asphalt. Val Trippera is beautiful.

On Wikipedia, typing "La Pieve di San Pietro di Feletto", there is a short and interesting description of the sacred building. It is not possible to upload it here on komoot as it is too long.

Classic "drittone" in Valbona: the road runs straight and you can let your legs go full throttle.

The Parish Church of San Pietro, a splendid work of the Lombard period, was built around the year 1000. From the 7th to 8th centuries, it was a gathering place for the faithful who flocked to numerous religious services, especially baptisms. In fact, the Parish Church was the only church privileged to possess a baptismal font. The exterior features a large portico, which likely served to provide safe shelter for the commoners during social gatherings. The 16th-century bell tower, which stands alone, is in Romanesque style, modeled after the one in Aquileia. A 19th-century staircase precedes the Parish Church. Numerous frescoes decorate the portico; among them the famous "Christ of Sunday" and the "Madonna and Child among the Saints," important for a very rare iconographic detail: that of Baby Jesus sucking milk from a bladder, with which the artist likely intended to reference the customs of poor families of the past. Inside, the architecture is fascinating yet simple: three narrow naves are divided by round arches resting on large rectangular pillars. In the background, a semicircular apse opens up, decorated with overlapping paintings. The walls of the central nave are entirely frescoed with works by various artists, including refined Byzantine influences, spanning the 13th to 15th centuries. The beautiful chapel of the baptismal font is decorated with late 15th-century frescoes illustrating the life and martyrdom of Saint Sebastian. The painter who frescoed the interior of the parish church is unknown, but he was likely an artist from the mainland between Treviso and Belluno, perhaps trained in the school of Antonio Vivarina. Opening hours are guaranteed only on Sundays and holidays, in the afternoons from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Hilly segment among the vineyards that develops on white country roads. It connects the town of Borgo Doimo, under the municipality of San Pietro di Feletto, to La Guizza di Conegliano. After the "U" turn there is the obligatory crossing of a river bed.
