This refuge is managed and open only during the summer months. It's possible to stop for a break when climbing to the summit of Rocciamelone. It's located approximately halfway between La Riposa and Rocciamelone.

This bivouac is located in the municipality of Novalesa, among the mountain pastures of Grange Monio. It is usually reached by parking in Ronelle, with a path in the woods that climbs quite steeply, at the end it passes through meadows. In just over 3 km you have to overcome a difference in altitude of 80 meters. Beautiful view of the Cenischia valley from the bivouac clearing. It can be used as a stopover to climb to Rocciamelone

Trucco is a village upstream of Susa. From here you have a beautiful view of the valley floor, but also of the surrounding hills.

Inexpensive Posto tappa with very good food and good accommodation. We recommend. One does not want to descend 3000m to Susa on one day.

Hut for the ascent to Rocciamelone. Overnight stay with half board for € 40.- (wine incl.) !! Very friendly hutkeeper.
