Many embankments and roads with little traffic

Within the Millecampi Valley, in the Municipality of Codevigo in the Fogolana area, there are four recently built casoni, each resembling the characteristic casoni of the Saccisica area. The casoni, known as casoni della Fogolana, consist of four units of varying sizes offering a wide range of services. In Stra, the Piovego canal joins the Brenta river, at the height of the Naviglio del Brenta, an important historical waterway between Padua and Venice. The intersection is regulated by locks such as the Porte Vinciane, which allow hydraulic control and navigation, also contributing to the protection of the lagoon. This junction is part of the broader hydraulic structure of the Veneto plain, divided into high, medium and low plains. The high plain has permeable soils with deep aquifers, while the medium and low plains are characterized by finer sediments and more superficial aquifers, requiring a network of canals and reclamation works to manage the water and prevent floods.

The casoni della Fogolana, located in the center of the Millecampi Valley of Codevigo (an area of the Southern Lagoon of Venice, today recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site) are recently built structures, which reproduce the old and typical homes of the Venetian countryside. The Casoni are currently owned by the Municipality of Codevigo, which has created a visitor center, an inn with a refreshment point and accommodations inside them. Currently they are accessible only during the programming of events.

Boschettona beach is a natural paradise. It is located in the municipality of Codevigo, in the province of Padua, and represents the only outlet to the sea in the Padua province.
