Currently only to be enjoyed with caution. Road bike: no chance Gravel: better not. Maybe with 40+ tires, rough; lots of thorns on the route. Not much grip. Very narrow. MTB: full concentration. No opportunity for turtles. Extremely lots of loose rubble. Trail almost overgrown. Vegetation above handlebar height. Trail therefore sometimes narrower than handlebars. Don't tip over. Gloves and long clothing recommended as there are thorns everywhere. Actually just wanted to go to the bakery in Pittulongu. Better to take the SP82 for that.

Cala Sabina is one of the most beautiful and characteristic beaches on the Gallura coast, reachable on board a train along a small railway that runs along the north coast of the Capo Figari promontory starting from Golfo Aranci. This enchanting beach extends over approximately 300 meters of fine white sand, and is surrounded by junipers and Mediterranean scrub. One of the curiosities linked to this beach is the origin of its name, which was the result of a botanical confusion: the Phoenician juniper, which grows luxuriantly in this area, was mistakenly mistaken for the Sabine juniper. Another distinctive element of Cala Sabina is the railway, built in the 1960s specifically to connect the town center with this seaside resort, which in the past could only be reached by sea or on foot.
