This station served the municipalities of Sant'Anatolia di Narco and Scheggino along the famous narrow-gauge railway that connected Spoleto to Norcia. Today the tracks have been replaced by a cycle path perfect for those who want to go off-road, which has made these places very bike-friendly.

Timed climb 13km 838m altitude difference

The Ancarano fork is located at an altitude of 1,008 meters above sea level, connecting the Santa Scolastica plain and the Campiano valley. It actually hides a historical gem: the remains of a sanctuary from the pre-Christian era (4th century BC). These are not visible from the road, but can be easily reached by following the signs.

Castel San Felice is a small fortified village located on the right bank of the Nera river. It developed around the Romanesque church of San Felice di Narco. From here you can follow the Valnerina cycle path if you want to cycle on a dirt road, or the parallel regional road, paying attention to cars.

Norcia is located on the Santa Scolastica plateau, and is known for its gastronomic tradition based on pork butchery products, such as ham, sausage and truffles. It has been hit by various earthquakes throughout its history: the last one, in 2016, caused serious damage to its artistic and cultural heritage.
