Along the beautiful Via delle Due Riviere you come across the Ponte delle Martogne, under which the Agogna flows. To the side of the bridge, on a grassy clearing, a beautiful picnic area has been created. From the bridge starts an easy path that allows you to reach, with a circular route, the surrounding mountain pastures.

Along the road there are a dozen centuries-old beech trees, probably saved over time because they contributed (and still contribute) to keeping the embankment on which the road runs solid, which would otherwise be subject to landslides. They are truly majestic trees, on whose trunks there are labels that make me believe that they are monitored by the Forestry Corps.

Romanesque church that has been extensively restored. Over the centuries the church has seen several additions and removals, but this is explained nicely. Great example of original Romanesque architecture. Be sure to make a short stop. Afterwards, have a coffee in Armeno.
