Departure from the center of Gignese (VB), 700 meters above sea level, to the summit of Mottarone (1,492 meters), through forests of birch, beech, chestnut, and maple trees. From the summit, you can admire the seven lakes in 360 degrees. From here, the view stretches to infinity: under clear skies, from the Maritime Alps to Monviso, from the closer Monte Rosa massif to the Swiss Alps, all the way to the Po Valley.
