The Roman Theater of Locri, located in Contrada Pirettina, originally Greek from the 4th century BC, was transformed in the 1st century BC, evidence of the Romanisation of the city. Discovered in 1940 by Paolo Enrico Arias and subsequently excavated until 1957, the building could accommodate 4,500 spectators, offering a panoramic view of the city and the sea.

Portigliola, a small Calabrian town, preserves the remains of ancient Locri Epizephiri, including "Centocamere". Precious Locrian finds were exported. Notable monuments include Churches, Greco-Roman Theater and historic towers.
