San Rocco is a beautiful village above Stazzona which is located at around 1000 m above sea level on the shadiest side of Valtellina. The climb is quite steep but passes almost completely through the woods, and the view over the Teglio area is magnificent. Although there is a fountain, the water is not drinkable, so stock up first (in Stazzona or Marto).

Beautiful little church that gives its name to a small mountain town. On a sunny and panoramic point of the Valtellina Orobie Alps, the little church is a crossing point for various walks that start from Stazzona and go up the mountain. The panoramic terrace of the church is also quite close to a fountain (on the road, a few dozen meters higher), which makes it a good place to stop.

Rest area in a panoramic point of a beautiful district of Villa di Tirano which you come across while traveling along the Wine Trail. On a stream, with benches and trash can, it's a good place to stop and look around.
