The climb to the "Sella Sagata" begins in Prato with a fairly steep section with a gradient of up to 19% and winds its way up to just before the saddle. All exposed sections, including hairpin bends and steep ramps, are concreted and lined with numerous rain grooves, challenging yet easy to manage with an e-bike. In between, there are gravel sections, some with smaller, some with larger gravel, some with white sand in some eroded areas, and very few flat sections. At times, the climb offers beautiful views of the valley and the Julian Alps.

During the war, this site served as a military cemetery. A "regular cemetery" has since been established on this site, as well as a remarkable Calvary. The memorial column has been relocated from its original location.

A noteworthy end and beginning of the new cycle path. A typical bridge, like those often built in Italy in the past to cross streams and rivers. It's fantastic how it's been incorporated into the cycle path. This part of the Torrente Resia is often used as a swimming spot in the summer.

The new cycle path is a pleasant end/beginning with the crossing of the Resia stream. In summer, the Resia stream is a popular swimming spot at this point.
