Sora is a city in the province of Frosinone located on the Liri river, at the foot of the Ernici mountains. It has an ancient and eventful history, such as the battle of Sora in 49 BC. between Caesar and Pompey.

The ruins of the castle of Sora are easily reachable from the town. They offer a splendid view of the city.

This beautiful town is located in the province of Frosinone, on the border between Lazio and Abruzzo. The inhabited center is surmounted by the Castle of Saints Casto and Cassio dating back to the 16th century.

A walk within everyone's reach.

According to some, it can be placed in the middle of the Iron Age between the VIII/VII century BC. the pointed arch of the acropolis of Civitavecchia is the only survivor of its kind in the whole Mediterranean area. This is a typical shelf arch which forms a "scea" door. The whole Acropolis is beautiful, as is the view from up there.
