An interesting gateway along the ancient Castroreale-Mandanici cattle track where it overlaps with the Peloritani mountain range. The annual pilgrimages to the Sanctuary of Tindari, which are made in a variety of ways (on foot, by bike, on horseback), all pass through this gateway. Over the years, devout believers have erected votive icons, each representing their Ionian hometown, making the whole experience unique and a delight to see.

From here you have a privileged view of Isola Bella, a rocky islet at the foot of Taormina connected to the mainland by a thin strip of sand. A ticket is required to visit. unexpectedly beautiful station

From the climb that deviates to the left before arriving at Misserio it is possible to stop at this panoramic point, two mountains on which the village of Savoca stands. You can notice the silhouette that characterizes it, similar to the back of a donkey.

Old building, and the ticket office and waiting rooms are still in the old style, especially the ornate old ceilings - great!
