if you find it open and manage to climb the tower...the view will be spectacular at 360° over the Alps and the Po Valley!

The walk along the stream is simple and flat, and can also be done by bike and on horseback. It's a shame that the paths on the hill are blocked by many fallen trees. The municipality should do maintenance as soon as possible. In the meantime, I advise you not to venture into the foliage unless you want an adventure or have a machete.

The fauna is typically aquatic: red frogs and toads come every year to reproduce and for some years there have also been one or two pairs of mallards.

Walking along the LP/847 path from Beregazzo in the direction of Appiano Gentile, after passing the Ca' Bianca farmhouse, you come across the pond of the same name on the left. To observe it better, it is best to turn left onto path 846, which partly runs along its banks. The Ca' Bianca pond, among the largest in the Pineta Park, is home to a rich population of water lilies, which bloom beautifully in summer. Along the banks, on the northernmost side, cattails and other aquatic plants also grow.

The church, isolated on the edge of the Appiano pine forest, can be reached via path 543. It stands in a pleasant position, separated from the town by the valley of the Antiga stream. It can be visited in conjunction with the religious celebrations which end every year on 19 July and which include processions and recitations of rosaries.

Forest with very interesting paths, there is also the opportunity to reach the Sanctuary from which you can enjoy a splendid view.

The characteristic Sanctuary of Oltrona San Mamette dates back to the 10th/11th century. It is located at the top of a hill from which you can enjoy a beautiful panorama.
