A special experience when visiting the municipality is offered by the roadside linden tree line, which winds all the way from Kobarid to Stare Selo. It was planted in 1936 by the dictator Mussolini. The approximate length of the avenue is 4 km, it consists mainly of linden (Tilia sp.) and horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum L.). It is considered one of the longest in Slovenia. Today it is protected as a natural landmark.
