From the Korada summit there is almost a 360-degree panoramic view.

The view from the top is worth the effort. There's also a nice table with benches for a comfortable refreshment with a view.

The highlight is essentially a small plateau consisting of two levels. It is also a pass at 960 meters. On the upper level, there is a memorial from which there is a beautiful view of Friuli. On the lower level, there is an Alpine building and a slightly larger shrine.

From the Korada mountain hut, a plateau-like path leads, easily accessible by bike. The summit offers expansive views to the north, east, and southeast.

The finish site of the nineteenth stage of the 2022 Giro d'Italia, won by Koen Bouwman, the Castelmonte Sanctuary (Stara Gora in Slovenian, meaning "ancient mountain") is located in the village of the same name in the municipality of Prepotto. Dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, the sanctuary was consecrated in 1744 and is of great importance to Slovenian literature: in the 1490s, the so-called Castelmonte Manuscript (Starogorski rokopis in Slovenian) was written here, one of the oldest surviving documents written in the Slovenian language.
