Beautiful, very panoramic peak. Accessible by 3 routes including a via ferrata that climbs up to just below the summit on the north face.

Beautiful lake under the Avostanis peak, reachable from the (impracticable) asphalt road exposed to the sun.

Once the via ferrata is over, head right towards the cross of Monte Zermula. A beautiful peak, also reachable via the normal route.

…you can get there by car 🚙 up to about 1520 m to Malga Promosio and from there you can continue comfortably to the lake 🥾

Wonderful mountain lake, difficult to describe the beauty of this place.

Suggestive lake inside a basin. I saw it with a bit of cloud and I would gladly go back even to reach the top. The only flaw is the asphalt road instead of a nice path to reach it.

Mount Zermula, m. 2,143 above sea level, it is one of the peaks of the Carnic Alps reachable from the Cason di Lanza Pass, included in the Great War treks. During the First World War it constituted, in this sector, the first Italian line facing the Austrian positions located on the border chain. The signs that the conflict left on the territory are still clearly visible (trenches, tunnels, military mule tracks).
