The Haidenhof in Tscherms has a long history, having already produced wine in the 18th century. After a long hiatus, the Erb family began selling their own wine again in 2006. Today, the winery produces around 15,000 bottles annually, crafted jointly by three generations. The quality and variety of grapes have been steadily improved over the past 15 years. The range includes Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Merlot, Vernatsch, Pinot Noir, and Diva. Johann Karl Erb emphasizes that the right harvest time is crucial for the full potential of a vintage. The wines are characterized by a fruity, full-bodied profile and are produced in the Haidenhof's steep vineyards, which, with their clay soils and Mediterranean climate, are ideal for viticulture.
