산제노‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪16‬개의 산길

The Mendel funicular takes you up here comfortably. The restaurant doesn't look that great at first glance. However, the view is fantastic. The surrounding hotels no longer exist and are falling into disrepair. For hikers, however, the mountain station is a good starting point. Be aware, however, that some people have this idea. Many just come to sit at the restaurant and have something to eat or drink.

From the terrace while enjoying an espresso, you have a fantastic view of the Dolomites, such as the Rosengarten and the Peitlerkofel.

The ascent to the Mendola Pass from the Appiano side is one of the most famous climbs in Alto Adige. It is about 15 kilometers long with almost 1000 meters of altitude difference. The gradient is constant along the many hairpin bends that characterize the route. The road offers wide views of the Adige Valley, and connects the wine-growing area with the Val di Non.

From the terrace right next to the mountain station you have a beautiful view of the valley.

When the weather is good, the view from here is simply wonderful.
