The cycle path from Bolzano to Trento largely follows the course of the Adige River and is part of the Adige Cycle Path. The route runs through the Oltradige and Bassa Atesina valleys, past vineyards, orchards, and idyllic villages such as San Michele all'Adige. It continues through the Vallagarina Valley to the provincial capital of Trento. The path is mostly flat, well-maintained, and suitable for cyclists of all experience levels. Along the way, beautiful views of the countryside, historic churches, and castles repeatedly open up, making the tour both scenically and culturally diverse.
