St. Vincentius Catholic Church, Bersenbrück This two-aisled hall church is located in the area of the former monastery. It is reached from the market square through the monastery gate from 1700, Bersenbrück's landmark. It forms a fascinating ensemble with the old monastery buildings, which now house the district court and the "Museum im Kloster" (Museum in the Monastery). With its high gable roof, its massive, approximately 50-meter-high, late-Gothic spire, completed in 1510, and its Cistercian turret, the church dominates the townscape. The northern nave was a former private church of the Counts of Ravensberg from the 12th century, and the southern nave was the former monastery church from the 13th and 14th centuries. The dividing wall between the two churches was removed at the beginning of the 19th century.
