Great Sunday morning gravel ride. Arrived at 8am in Miribel Park, not a soul 🐈⬛ but a few hares and signs quietly waking up near the many beaches. I'm surprised by the quality of the singletrack and trails which are super well maintained. Would do it again gladly.

Completed in 1853, the footbridge consists of an 87 m span suspended by stays fixed in masts anchored in the 2 piers placed 10 m from the banks. On September 1, 1944, the Germans blew up the footbridge. The cables and the deck were partially destroyed. Rebuilt identically, it was reopened to the public in November 1944. On March 17, 2003, it was renamed the Paul Couturier footbridge in honor of this priest, born in La Guillotière on July 29, 1881 and died on March 29, 1953, who contributed to interfaith exchanges.
