The bakery with its outdoor area is really beautifully designed with natural materials and invites you to linger; it's even open on Sundays.

In the northern part of the village, on the northwest side of the village square, at the south-leaving path through the village, which lies south opposite the road junction from Niesendorf, northwest of the monument. 1 cross stone. Slab-like block, rounded top, elongated rectangular cross-section, the narrow sides widening towards the bottom. Granite. Narrow side extending north-south, broad side extending east-west. On the north side, carved in relief: a large Maltese cross, next to it at the top right: a dagger with a kidney-shaped crossguard. Height: north side 102 cm, south side 96 cm, width: north side 66 cm, south side 74 cm, thickness: 24 cm. General surface weathering, minor old chips. Path junction. Protected since August 25, 1971. Legends: a) Soldier's grave 1813. See memorial stone with crossed sabers and inscription PS on hill 151.3 southwest of Zescha. b) When a Zescha resident used the cross stone to build a house, he found no peace until he returned it to its original location. The 32-meter-high Red Tower, a former defense and watchtower, is a remnant of the Pulsnitz city gate and has 117 steps. As the name suggests, this street leads to the town of Pulsnitz, 12 km away. City gates were particularly vulnerable in times of war. Therefore, the defenders attempted to protect them with additional walls and towers. In an emergency, many archers could take up positions on it. The tower also served as a municipal prison for the higher ranks. The city bailiffs imprisoned criminals from the lower classes in the town hall prison. Since August 2011, the monastery church has served not only ecclesiastical purposes but also as a sacred museum. Important sacred works of art from the churches of Kamenz are presented here.
