Located directly on the Haßlach Bridge, not far from the train station, the Hörig butcher shop sells this local specialty. A welcome refreshment before a tour from Kronach, or on the way back, if it's still open.

Both the main road and the cycle path along the old railway line offer beautiful views of the castle and church. Road cyclists usually use the road when traffic is light and the traffic lights are off, as it's faster and shorter. The railway cycle path is a bit longer and more winding, but more interesting, safer, and offers better views. If traffic is heavy, choose the latter. The cycle path is also paved throughout.
